At the age of Seven my love for food started: I remember cooking my first dish “a slow cooked Chicken in Red Wine” and going down to the dam to catch fish and grill them in the oven or catching a fresh water Barbel and searing it in a pan with garlic and Olive oil.
After working in some well-known Restaurants and Delis I thought it was time to start doing what I love and sharing my passion with the rest of Cape Town. So on The 30th of March 2012 SG Catering was established.
I can still remember our first Spit Braai and realising that trying to cut up two whole Lambs without an Electric Knife was not the answer. But with every mistake is a lesson and we at SG Catering fully believe that and no matter how many events we do, every Event will be treated like it is our First.
We are currently catering to the two oldest rugby Clubs in South Africa from great burgers to pizzas to all Sporting events , 21st Birthday parties or an end of year Function. We make it our Mission to cater to our customers’ requirements and make there event a memorable one.
